Looking to Travel to The Resident Edinburgh by Air, train, car, or public transport? We’re fortunate to have a wealth of public transport options in our local area, making your journey easier than ever.
BY TRAIN
We have two train stations close to The Resident Edinburgh – Haymarket Station (15 minute walk/ 0.6 miles) and Waverly Station (20 minute walk/ 1.1 miles).
For Haymarket turn right out of the train station onto Clifton Terrace, follow the road onto W Maitland Street and turn left at the traffic lights onto Palmerston Place, then right onto Chester Street and you will find The Resident Edinburgh on your right hand side.
For Waverley turn left out of the train station onto Princes Street, walk along until there is a fork in the road, take the right hand road up Queensferry Street then take a left onto Drumsheugh Gardens and The Resident Edinburgh will be on your left hand side.
Edinburgh airport is our nearest airport. To get to the hotel, take the tram from stop E outside the airport, for four stops. Get off at Shandwick Place stop (SC). From here there is a 6 minute walk to the hotel (0.6 miles). Walk right along Shandwick Place and turn left onto Queensferry Street then left onto Drumsheugh Gardens and The Resident Edinburgh will be on your left hand side.
Or take a 20 minute taxi from the airport to the hotel.
Shandwick Place (stop SC) is the closest tram stop to the hotel. It is a 6 minute walk (0.6 miles). Walk right along Shandwick Place and turn left onto Queensferry Street then left onto Drumsheugh Gardens and The Resident Edinburgh will be on your left hand side.
